Playing with Water and Colour

 

  

Last summer I was sharpening my pencils. The wooden shavings were getting everywhere. I thought I better shave them into the compost rather than all over the floor.  I found a bowl to direct the shavings into which happened to be filled with water. What followed were a series of playful experiments with colour, water, light and pencil shavings.  Enjoy! 

Functional Felt

I am currently exploring the wonderful insulating properties of felt by making coffee pot warmers, tea and coffee cup warmers and felted plant pot warmers.
